Nature's Imprint Series

This series of paintings is created by using various organic matter I find in nature. Flowers, leaves, and feathers are collected and pressed into paint then imprinted onto a painted canvas. Much like a favorite memory, the flora and fauna leave their imprint behind. I have also used this method to create memories of important days, like the flowers from a bridal bouquet and leaves that rained down on a very special celebration I was honored to attend.
